Course Description

Identify the toxic and hazardous substances arising from workplace exposure that produce adverse health effects on workers. Describe toxicity mechanisms involved in human body organ systems. Apply hazard control theory. Identify hazards, analyze/assess the risk, and develop/implement controls. Define and analyze the requirement, value and ethics of data collection/evaluation, workplace biological monitoring and animal testing protocols.
