Course Description

Is designed for students with practical experience who require further theoretical background. Topics include: turning, milling and grinding theory, safety procedures and related set-up and operational calculations of formulae, for the following machine tools: engine lathe, basic drilling, milling and surface grinding machines. The course will also include metric conversion, and the proper use and applications of related hand tools, layout tools and measuring tools.
