Course Description

The focus of this course includes the normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system so that abnormalities and treatments may be identified, cardiac assessment identifying heart disease, heart failure, ventricular valve disease, cardiogenic shock and cardiomyopathies and nursing interventions related to the care of the client.
