Program Description
Gain the skills you need for a career in interior decorating or learn how to decorate your own home with a professional flair!
Interior decorating is all around us, from lighting to colour, furniture to fabrics. This program will help you develop or enhance your skills in residential decorating. Learning from industry professionals, you will develop visual creative skills and practical knowledge through courses like Colour Principles, Creative Design Presentations, Residential Lighting, Accessorizing the Home and more. These courses will help prepare you for employment in related retail businesses (furniture, paint, drapery sales, etc.), established decorating/designing businesses, or to offer your own design consulting services.

Successful completion of Secondary School English or equivalent is required.
Interested in taking a single course? Provided you have the appropriate prerequisites, the courses in this program can be taken individually.
