Program Description
Gain a solid understanding of computers, networks, network operating systems and the Internet. This program will be of interest to those who work in an environment that fosters a Local Area Network and wish to understand the concepts of how a network handles data, and shares hardware and software resources. Familiarize yourself with data communications and networking essentials, TCP/IP and networking, network operating systems for network applications, computer and server hardware, and internet programming.
This certificate will prepare you for COMPTIA A+, Server+, i-Net+, Linux+ and Microsoft Certifications and provides you with knowledge of current and emerging networking technology that will empower you to enter employment or further education in the computer-networking field.

MATH10042 or equivalent is recommended.
