Program Description
Provides detailed information on the design and construction of residential buildings. Primarily intended for members of the general public who intend to design, build, or renovate their own residences, but it also has strong appeal for trades-persons who wish to increase their construction knowledge, or for persons seeking employment in the residential construction field. All courses are extremely practical in nature and present current building, framing, drafting, and energy-efficiency methods and techniques in an understandable and effective way.
Employment in some trades requires licenses. This program is not intended to provide such licenses.
