Course Description

Students will build communication skills critical for University and workplace success, working both individually and collaboratively to strengthen reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. By considering social and health-related issues, students will hone research and critical thinking skills to produce written and spoken arguments. In doing so, students will experience the conventions and expectations of post-secondary grammar, mechanics, citation and language use.
