Course Description

This course prepares students with specific insights into the field placement process. Students learn the expectations of field work and increase their competency for placements as well as the broader helping professions. Learners will be able to identify and demonstrate documentation and communication best practices and will utilize evidence-based research on addictions and mental health for related proposals. They will also learn and demonstrate critical incident and crisis management skills.
