Course Description

A first step practical application course focusing on the integration of theory, field-related issues and personal development in conjunction with mandatory completion of 56 hours of CYC field placement preparation experience, providing learners with the opportunity to demonstrate the initial skills required both personally and professionally for becoming a CYC practitioner.

This course follows a blended delivery model (a mix of weekly lectures and independent learning). Weeks that include a lecture component will be scheduled for Mondays from 6:30pm-9:30pm EST and held virtually through Zoom Video Conferencing. All course content including a link to the Zoom lectures can be accessed through MyCanvas starting on the official course start date.
