Course Description

Enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of those involved in a helping capacity with aging adults in community and institutional settings. It is intended as an enrichment program for graduates who are currently involved with the elderly through work or volunteer experience. This introductory course provides a research based overview of the historical and current social, psychological and economic aspects of aging in Canada.
