Course Description

Gain practical skills in basic laboratory techniques, and use of basic laboratory instrumentation. Become familiar with the use of glassware in standard and reagent preparation, use of the fumehood, safe operation of the centrifuge and Kohler Illumination.

Students must have successfully completed or are currently registered in MLSC10012 and MLSC10013 to be eligible to attend this Lab Basics Workshop course.

Class schedule: Friday (5:00 pm - 9:00 pm) and Sat-Sun (9:00 am - 5:00 pm). The course delivery is in-person. To find your classroom, visit the WhereEnCampus portal. Continuing Education classrooms can change as late as 4:30 p.m. each day. Please check the schedule frequently.

Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLSC10012) AND Basic Laboratory Techniques for MLA (MLSC10013)
