Course Description

Mohawk College’s POCUS Midwifery Training Program was developed to address the gap in formal Point of Care ultrasound training for Midwives. The program is delivered as a post-graduate micro-credential in as little 13-14 weeks from start to finish. The program consists of:

  • Six (6) weeks of online, self-directed learning modules
  • Two (2) full-day intensive, in-person skills labs
  • Up to one (1) year to complete supervised case collection within your regular clinical practice

You must be a Registered Midwife to enrol in the course. If you are an RN/physician practicing in obstetrics, please reach out to centreforprofessionaldvancement@mohawkcollege.ca for special approval.
