Course Description

Study the paediatric population with cardio/respiratory disorders in a community context. Focus will be on pathophysiology, medical and nursing management. Emphasis is on ongoing patient assessment, medication administration and possible med changes due to illness, client education, and communication with patient, family and caregiver. Cultural and spiritual factors will be considered.
