Course Description

Emphasis is on the study of the signs and symptoms of the major mental illnesses, including bipolar disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. There will also be discussions about eating and sleeping disorders, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Students in the Social Service Worker (215) program can complete this course as an equivalent to PSYCAS407 - Abnormal Psychology.
