Course Description

Develop a better understanding of the concerns and issues of culturally diverse clients and their communities. Gain appreciation for the diversity of cultures and subcultures and their interactions in Canadian society. Course provides the students with opportunities to look at their personal as well as professional values and relationships to clients of culturally diverse views.

Students in the Social Service Worker (215) program can complete this course as an equivalent to HMNSSO232 - Privilege & Oppression in SSW.
