Course Description

This course is focused on providing a great deal of knowledge and hands-on experience to Aerospace industry technical staff on the fundamental related areas of the IoT ( Internet of Things) with no need for any formal prerequisites for attending.The IoT Foundations in Smart Industry Monitoring course will use an industry-based approach to introduce the IoT technology in broader terms, and its industrial uses, and teach students how to deploy IoT systems. Through the developed training modules, students will receive the hands-on experience needed to solve real-world, practical IoT challenges bringing together senior industry leaders to share best practices, lessons learned, tools & techniques. Participants will gain insight into the anatomy of digital transformation, sensor systems and measurements, industrial networking and gateways, cloud computing and data analytics, and IoT security and privacy. They will understand key principles and techniques for designing and testing IoT systems in the industrial environment and expected challenges.This course is designed for new or experienced participants coming from the Aerospace industry with anticipation after completion to bring the gained experience back to their work field to assist in the adoption of IoT in transforming the current operations and deploy robust analytical strategies to improve operational efficiency in this sector.
