Course Description

Illustrate appropriate techniques to be used in Medical Device Reprocessing, including but not limited to PPE, hand hygiene, mechanical and manual cleaning processes. Examine various equipment used and their sterilization techniques.

Students are required attend all five scheduled lab dates. Please check Section Notes for specific course offering information (dates and location).

Spring/Summer 2024 Semester: students must complete HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, by May 10, 2024 to be eligible to attend the spring/summer lab course. Students who do not clear their preplacement/lab requirements by the deadline will not be approved to attend labs.

Day/Time: Five Saturdays (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
