Course Description

The course is designed to take the basic hydraulic principles learned in "Introduction to Hydraulics" and apply those principles to several types of control valving & accessories found in a hydraulic system. The student will become familiar with these types of control valves, accessories and hydraulic fluids and how/where to apply these components in an operating hydraulic system to assure efficient operation of a system for a specific application. Utilizing specific laboratory equipment the student will have opportunity to do hands on lab experiments with typical valving/accessories found in industry today.

Introduction to Hydraulics (STEN10049) OR Introductory Hydraulics (STENMF201)
