Course Description

The science of taste and how the production of tea influences the appearance of the leaf and the overall taste will be examined. Learn to identify stages of production, proper storage, handling techniques; recognize potential production errors and the associated impact on the tea. Hands-on tasting sessions, you will develop the skills to discern major tea characteristics. To identify and fully understand the science of taste, a tasters' vocabulary will be covered with tastings of various products as chocolate, water, etc.
