Course Description

Develop an understanding of archival theory and practice. Focus on the relationship between archives and records management, acquisition and appraisal, arrangement and description, reference services, preventive conservation, and facility planning and security.

This course can be used to fufill 1 of 4 Library Option courses required when completing the Library and Infomation Technician diploma program. Cannot be used as a General Elective if completing the Library and Infomation Technician diploma program.
