Course Description

Integrate knowledge and skills learned in RPN Maternal, Newborn and Family Care Theory courses in a Level 1 or 2 perinatal clinical setting (antenatal clinic, maternal child unit, nursery, L&D-observation only). Mohawk College Medical Clearance and current NRP are required.

Registration for this course is restricted. 

Students must complete HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, to ensure all required preplacement clearances are up-to date. Students will not be approved to register in this course if their preplacement requirements are not up-to date. All requirements must also be valid throughout the duration of your clinical.
