Course Description

Apply the skills learned in Dementia theory courses in a clinical setting.

Registration for this course is restricted. 

Students must complete HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, to ensure all required preplacement clearances are up-to date. Students will not be approved to register in this course if their preplacement requirements are not up-to date. All requirements must also be valid throughout the duration of your clinical.

Prerequisites

Communication and Interpersonal Skills in Dementia Care (COMM10335) AND Exploring Dementia Care (COMM10336) AND Creating a Dementia Care Skill Kit (HSCI10223) AND Legal and Ethical Issues Related to Aging (HSCI10231)
