Course Description

Study theories and practices of community development, organizing and change. Examine and apply strategies to encourage meaningful change to improve the quality of life in communities. Analyze power and politics, anti-oppressive practices and applications, and creative and critical thinking.

This course follows a synchronous delivery model (weekly lectures). The weekly lectures will be scheduled for Tuesdays from 6:30pm-9:30pm EST virtually through Zoom Video Conferencing. A link to the Zoom lecture will be provided by the instructor prior to the first class. Course content will be accessed through MyCanvas starting on the official course start date.
