Course Description

The term "concurrent disorders" is used to describe co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. Enables you to define a concurrent disorder, understand the importance of addressing concurrent disorder issues and examine your attitudes and values while developing a knowledge of treatment options and understanding the importance of the therapeutic relationship.

This course follows a Blended delivery model (a mix of weekly lectures and independent learning). Weeks that include a lecture component will be scheduled for Tuesdays from 6:30pm-9:30pm EST with the lecture being held virtually through Zoom Video ConferencingA link to the Zoom lecture will be provided by the instructor prior to the first day of class. Please note course content is to be accessed through MyCanvas starting on the official course start date.
