Course Description

Students will be introduced to the theory and techniques required for safe practice in Phlebotomy, when collecting both venous and capillary blood samples.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals.

This course is offered in a blended delivery. Check the section details, right side, for the in-person (SAT-SUN) training dates and information as course dates and times may change for in-person.

Students may request for a Letter of Recognition upon successful completion of the course. 

Upon completion of the below steps, you may earn the professional title, Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).  Canadian Phlebotomy Technicians Group Inc. logo

Steps to becoming certified:

  1. Successful completion of Mohawk College Phlebotomy Training Course.
  2. Become a member of the Canadian Phlebotomy Technicians Group Inc.
  3. Challenge the CPT Exam.
