Course Description

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Theory builds on the facilitation experience of the Green Belt to examine more complicated or cross-functional improvement initiatives. It is designed for individuals who want to advance their abilities in Lean Six Sigma focusing on enterprise level improvement initiatives and is a pre-requisite for those wishing to pursue Black Belt Certification. Participants will apply the phases of Lean Six Sigma DMAIC problem solving to business problems at a Black Belt level involving multiple processes and/or multiple departments. Advanced statistical concepts are coupled with Minitab/Excel instruction to facilitate data-driven decision making. Passing Grade - 70%. .
