Course Description

Combine theory and practice in individual settings with young children and their families for 105 hours of supervised field placement. Monitor progression and prepare long-term individual developmental plans based on input from staff, clinicians and families through a series of home visits.

Registration is by SPECIAL APPROVAL each semester. To register, you must contact cecommunityplacements@mohawkcollege.ca.  

Students must have valid NARs (non-academic requirements) prior to completing Practicum 2. This can be completed by registering for WORK10185 or WORK10186 the semester prior to field placement completion.

WORK10185 is required for students who have not previously submitted NARs documents
WORK10186 is required for students who need to update expired NARs documents
