Course Description

Broaden your educational experience to included the varied services of different types of libraries. Supervised experience in libraries is essential in the development of library skills. Before registering, and to obtain important information, visit ce.mohawkcollege.ca/library and submit a placement planning form.

You must submit a Placement Planning Form before, or immediately following registration.

This course is intended for students unable to complete Field Work 1 (WORKLT290) placement hours within a 14 week period. Students completing this course must also complete Library Field Work A (WORK10197) to achieve a equivalent credit to Field Work 1 (WORKLT290). To request approval for registration, please contact celibrary@mohawkcollege.ca.

Library Field Work A (WORK10197) AND Information Technology for Library Technicians (INFO10172) AND Online Searching (LIBR10041) AND Resource Description and Access 1 (LIBR10042) AND Circulation and Interlibrary Loan (LIBR10037)
