Course Description
Participate in onsite learning opportunities and experiences to become familiar with the role of an Educational Assistant in an elementary school setting. Understand the roles, expectations and functioning of a school and its staff. Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and cooperative working relationships with the guidance of a supervising teacher and the school team.Upon registration, students will be required to submit a Placement Request Form at https://www.mohawkcollege.ca/form/es-placement-request-form.
A Vulnerable Sector Police is required prior to completing placement hours. Additional information will be shared with students shortly after registration.
