Course Description
Participate in onsite learning opportunities and experiences to become familiar with the role of an Educational Assistant in a specialized school setting. Collaborate, prepare and implement strategies to support the learner in that setting. Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and cooperative working relationships with the guidance of a supervising teacher and the school team.Upon registration, students will be required to submit a Placement Request Form at https://www.mohawkcollege.ca/form/es-placement-request-form.
A Vulnerable Sector Police is required prior to completing placement hours. Additional information will be shared with students shortly after registration.
