Course Description

Apply theories and principles of child development as it pertains to early childhood and middle childhood years. As we explore the changes evident in developing children from physical, intellectual, language, social and emotional perspective, consider the milestones, behaviours, abilities and emergent skills of these key periods of child development. Interpret behaviour from a developmental perspective aimed at meeting the holistic needs of children within a particular stage/age range.

Students can complete Child Development 2 (EDUC10143) as an online equivalent course.
