Course Description

Research and examine the many contributing factors and types of physical and developmental challenges that would be managed by an Educational Assistant (EA) in a school setting. Consider the role of the EA in collaborating with other professionals to facilitate and maximize independence for the student with multiple challenges.

Students in the Educational Support (Intensive) - 997 program can complete EDUCEDE23 - Communicational Exceptionalities OR EDUCEDE26 - Physical Multiple Exceptionalities as an equivalent course to EDUC10098 - Physical Multiple and Communication Exceptionalities.
