Course Description

Recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. It includes adult, child, and infant rescue techniques. This Red Cross training is designed for healthcare professionals/first responders who have been BLS certified within the past 12 months. No refunds or transfers after course end date. CPR book, certification card fee and pocket mask included.

Course fee includes CPR book, certification card fee, pocket mask and other supplies. Students must confirm room location by visiting WhereEnCampus and search by CRN or course code.  

Registered learners are required to send a copy or proof of their current CPR BLS certification to cehealth@mohawkcollege.ca at least two days prior to the Recertification class. Learners with no current CPR certification will not be permitted to attend the class.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) OR 19 years of age or older.
