Course Description

Illustrate appropriate techniques to be used in Medical Device Reprocessing, including but not limited to PPE, hand hygiene, mechanical and manual cleaning processes. Examine various equipment used and their sterilization techniques.

Students are required attend all five scheduled lab dates. Please check Section Notes for specific course offering information (dates and location).

Students must register for HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, and complete all the required documents at least one month prior to the course start date to be eligible to attend the lab course.  All requirements must also be valid throughout the duration of your labs.
