Course Description

Together we will work towards unlearning what we have been taught, and healing the pain caused by colonialism. In a safe, respectful setting, circle work will facilitate an exchange and critical analysis of ideas, on a journey, both individual and collective, to build decolonized social service work practices.

This course follows a blended delivery model (a mix of weekly lectures and independent learning). Weeks that include a lecture component will be scheduled for Thursdays from 7:00pm-9:00pm EST and held virtually through Zoom Video Conferencing. All course content including a link to the Zoom lectures can be accessed through MyCanvas starting on the official course start date.

Student Zoom Account can be accessed at https://mohawkcollege.zoom.us/.
