Course Description

Men are more likely to be victims of stranger assaults. This course explores the unique issues of men's experiences when victimized by crime. Masculinity theory is discussed and the victim offender continuum is examined. Response to and reporting of crimes is analyzed. Through discussions, examination of case studies and lectures, students demonstrate an understanding of the victimization of men.
