Course Description

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Theory provides a focus on the facilitation of Lean Six Sigma Kaizen events. More advanced than Yellow Belt, it is designed for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills in continuous improvement and is a pre-requisite for those wishing to pursue Green Belt Certification. Participants will learn about the history and principles of Lean and Six Sigma through practical application of theory, methods and tools including applying the phases of Lean Six Sigma DMAIC problem solving to business problems. Introductory statistical concepts are coupled with Minitab/Excel instruction to facilitate data-driven decision making. Passing Grade - 70%.
