Course Description

Combine theory and practice in an integrated setting for 105 hours of supervised field placement. Observe and analyze the role of the resource teacher and work as a team member with staff to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual developmental plans.

Registration is by SPECIAL APPROVAL each semester. To register, you must contact cecommunityplacements@mohawkcollege.ca.  

Students must have valid NARs (non-academic requirements) prior to completing Practicum 1. This can be completed by registering for WORK10185 or WORK10186 the semester prior to field placement completion.

WORK10185 is required for students who have not previously submitted NARs documents
WORK10186 is required for students who need to update expired NARs documents
