Course Description

Use programming tools, database reporting tools, and decision support systems to produce summary reports of data, visualizations of data, and data-based predictions for decision making in a healthcare context. Create simple computer programs that produce visualizations, summary statistics, and predictive models using machine learning and data mining techniques to develop a deeper their understanding of data representation and statistics. Use commercial tools such as Cognos Business Intelligence and/or Watson Analytics for data reporting and predictive modelling in a healthcare context.

Note: The scheduling currently posted is tentative. Exact scheduling is not available at this time. Students enrolling in this course will be completing classes with the Day Time students.
