Course Description

Assess the effects of a ‘greying’ nation on Canadian society by analyzing the personal, cultural, gendered and social aspects of aging. Think critically about the diverse experiences of aging while examining the role of technology, healthcare, and social support in later life. Reflect on myths and stereotypes of aging and explore how physical activity and health promotion can improve one’s own health and well-being in later life.
