Course Description

Examine the core components of a digital twin, the data sources they are composed from, and reality capture technologies used to build them. Build a construction and existing facility digital twin. Annotate and report construction issues, tag assets, and inspection findings for remediation. Analyze the impact when combining 3D visualization with robotics, analytics and facility operational software in the creation of operational digital twins. Previous Building Information Modeling (BIM) course or experience is recommended.

Note to former students: While this micro-credential was fully funded by a government sponsor, it is treated as a taxable benefit calculated at the market rate of tuition.
