Course Description

This is a non-technical general cybersecurity course aimed at financial professionals at all levels who want to and/or need to learn about cybersecurity in order to remain compliant with their industry or simply to provide more value to their organization. This course will guide the student through an introduction/refresher on the main precepts of cybersecurity. Following that, the student will be instructed on more in-depth topics such as exploring the threat landscape, identifying who the bad actors are and why they are doing what they are doing and why difference organization archetypes are prime targets. Also, this course will guide the student through the governance aspect of cybersecurity which includes the full cybersecurity preparedness and response lifecycle as well as a number of case studies that will illuminate how things can and have gone wrong in different industries.
