Course Description

Examine the history of perinatal support and the perinatal support worker (PNSW) scope of practice, including the expectations of a PNSW. Identify how oppression has impacted reproductive health care for members of marginalized communities and explore anti-oppression support.

You must be a graduate of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program from a recognized Post-Secondary institution to register in this course. To receive approval to register, please reach out to cehealth@mohawkcollege.ca. You must submit a copy of their PSW Credential/Certificate to info@pnsw.org within 7 days of registration to keep your spot in the course.
