Course Description

Examine the determinants of health, in the context of socioecological and planetary health frameworks to promote, prevent, and protect health within client populations. Apply theoretical models and conceptual approaches to promote health equity and social justice in public health nursing practice. Proof of current RN registration or graduate nurse registration (e.g. College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of registration in the Temporary Class) with the respective provincial/territory regulator is required to register.
