Course Description

The student will continue to practice skills for the scrub nurse and circulating nurse role in an operating room environment.

Students must attend all five scheduled Saturday lab sessions. Please check Section Notes for course offering information (dates and location).

Spring/Summer 2024 Semester: students must complete HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, by May 17, 2024 to be eligible to attend the Spring/summer offering of the course. Students who do not clear their preplacement/lab requirements by the deadline will not be approved to attend labs. All requirements must also be valid throughout the duration of your labs.

Day/Time: Six scheduled Saturdays, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (dates will be posted on the course page or shared with the students prior to the start date)
