Course Description

Setting up and managing a small and medium size enterprises require a great deal of knowledge and experience. Some of the topic areas include the legal structure, budgets, government resources, marketing, human resources and financial planning. Students also learn how new innovative research can expand or initiate new business opportunities. Practical business skills include developing a business plan, creating a strategic plan based on mission and vision, complying with federal and provincial regulations and managing employees.
