Course Description

Integrate the knowledge and skills learned in Neonatal Nursing 1 (Advanced). The clinical experience will occur in Level 2 perinatal setting (special care nursery, intensive care nursery). Mohawk College Medical Clearance and current NRC are required.

Registration for this course is restricted. Students must be a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing with CNO or their provincial/territory regulator, and is entitled to practice with no restrictions before registering for HLTH10223. 

HLTH10223 – Preplacement/Clinical Services, not part of the program of study, must be completed to ensure all required preplacement clearances are up-to date and valid throughout the duration of your clinical. Students will not be approved to register in this course if their preplacement requirements are not up-to date.
