Course Description

This course will provide the development of knowledge for basic interviewing methods, procedures and behaviours. Applications of these skills to the counselling work situation will be explored and experienced. Effective listening and empathy training will be presented.

This course follows a synchronous delivery model with live virtual lectures. These online lectures will be scheduled at various points throughout the course, with other weeks dedicated to independent work. Course content will be available on MyCanvas starting from the official course start date, and the lectures can be accessed through MyCanvas as well.
