Course Description

This course develops awareness and insight into a variety of special needs including, Physical, Multiple and Communication Exceptionalities. Students will review current legislation, research and initiatives developed in response to academic and developmental challenges requiring specialized programming and the support of an Educational Assistant. Awareness of strategies and competence in implementing effective use of technology, especially Ipads, for a variety of needs will be reviewed and evaluated.
