Course Description

Examine various vulnerable/priority populations including sexual and gender minorities, immigrant and Indigenous peoples, and their strengths and barriers to health at an individual and societal levels. Apply population health ethics, health equity frameworks, intersectoral collaboration and community development theory and approaches.

Foundations of Public Health Nursing Practice (NRSG10134) AND Epidemiology for Public Health Nursing (NRSG10135) AND Social and Ecological Determinants of Health and Health Equity (NRSG10136) AND Community/Population Health and Clinical Decision Making (NRSG10140)
